National and International touring is an important and exciting annual event on the Australian Girls Choir calendar. In July 2010, 56 choristers took part in our 13th National Tour to the Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales & Tasmania and we will hold our 13th International Tour to England, France, Switzerland and Singapore in September.
Since the first International Tour to Canada in 1989 the choir has visited places as diverse as the Australian Capital Territory, Hobart, Murgon, Sydney and Uluru in Australia; Venice, Rome, Dublin, Prague, Paris and Berlin in Europe; Los Angeles, San Francisco, Texas and Boston in the USA; Apia, Nuku’alofa, Rotorua and Auckland in the South Pacific; Tokyo, Hanoi, Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Hong Kong in Asia; and Edinburgh, Glasgow, London and York in the United Kingdom.
