Uniforms
Choristers in the Australian Girls Choir are known for their excellent presentation and we encourage girls to take pride in their appearance. Girls in Piccolo, Vivo and Allegro Levels do not wear a uniform. Girls should wear comfortable casual clothing with long hair tied back.
Weekly Rehearsal Uniform - Avanti, Prelude, Concert Levels and Camerata and Performing Choir
Avanti Level - The magenta t-shirt and dance pants are compulsory. The polar fleece jacket is optional.
Prelude Level - All items of the uniform are compulsory – magenta t-shirt, dance pants and polar fleece.
Concert Level - All items of the uniform are compulsory – magenta t-shirt (girls with navy t-shirt may continue to wear it in 2009), dance pants and polar fleece.
Camerata and Performing Choir – All items of the uniform are compulsory – navy t-shirt, dance pants and polar fleece.
The choir uniform must be worn with black socks and black school or dress shoes.
A choir hair ribbon should be worn with the uniform. This is available from your venue manager for $2. All girls should wear their hair neatly tied back to every rehearsal. Only jewellery to be worn are small stud earrings and watches.
Brisbane Prelude and Concert choristers please note:
In Brisbane 2009 we are introducing a magenta coloured t-shirt for choristers in Avanti, Prelude and Concert levels; this change will be phased in and returning girls from Prelude and Concert Level with the navy t-shirt may continue to wear it.
Orders and Payment
T-shirts $37 (GST inclusive)
Dance Pants $50 (GST inclusive)
Polar Fleece Jacket $65 (GST inclusive)
If all three items are ordered at the one time a special price of $135 (GST inclusive) is available. Venue Managers will accept credit card and cheque payments only.
Second Hand Uniforms
A list of second hand uniforms for sale is available from your Venue Manager or you may contact the office for details.
Hot Weather Policy
If the temperature should exceed 30 degrees, choristers may wear their AGC t-shirt with black or navy knee length shorts and sandals to weekly rehearsals.
