The Australian Girls Choir is proud to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation in our role as Youth Ambassadors, assisting the NBCF in their efforts to raise awareness and funds to find a cure for breast cancer.
The past year has seen our choristers take part in several NBCF events which have included:
- Pink Ribbon Day celebrations including a special performance on Channel 9 Today'
- Over 500 choristers and families taking part in the Mother's Day Classic walk in each state, dressed in pink!
- Performance at the Corporate Partner's Workshop for NBCF supporters
- Launch of Sarah Darmody's Thanks for the Mammaries' book
The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is the leading community-funded organisation in Australia raising money for research into the prevention, detection and treatment of breast cancer. The NBCF recently achieved a new milestone having now funded $55 million across 230 research programs since 1994. We look forward to continuing to support the NBCF over the coming years at many more pink events!
