Bianca Baykara spent 10 years in the Australian Girls Choir developing her talent and passion for performing arts. An avid dancer, Bianca was a member of the Performing Choir specialist dance group Ballare from 2002 and a member of Bel Canto from 2003. On completing secondary school, Bianca started her tertiary studies in Science at Melbourne University. She managed to juggle study, work as a Manager for the fledgling Aus Girls Dance and keen participation in amateur musicals in and around Melbourne. Proving performing arts was really her forte, Bianca scored the lead role in Miss Saigon (CLOC Musical Theatre) and Fame (Waterdale Players) in 2009. In order to follow the career path of her passion, Bianca auditioned for entry in the prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA) Diploma of Music Theatre in November 2009. An intensive year long program, the Music Theatre course admits only talented individuals whom NIDA perceive as having potential for making a career in the arts entertainment industry. Bianca was successful and as one of only 12 people admitted we think she is destined to go far! We would like to congratulate Bianca her acceptance and wish her well for her big move.
