International Tour

55 choristers from Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney have departed on the choir's 14th International Tour which is travelling to Boston, New York, Washington, San Francisco and Los Angeles over a three week period. This specially selected group is made up of choristers from Camerata and Performing Choir.

The touring choir will perform at a variety of high profile public events and will be hosted by, and present shared concerts with, local school groups and choirs in each destination.

During the twenty-three day journey the touring choir will travel more than 60,000kms with 1300kgs of luggage, will eat 7000 meals, and will take part in more than 20 performances and workshops.

Tour highlights include performances at the Australian Embassy in Washington, the Australian Consul-General’s residence in Los Angeles, a public performance at Disneyland Anaheim, and combined concerts with the John Burroughs High School, World Children’s Choir, Boston City Singers, San Francisco Girls Chorus and the Los Angeles Children’s Chorus.
